Evolve is a transportation engineering consulting company based in Coquitlam, BC, Canada.
Evolve was founded in 2015 by Alon Weinberger, a senior transportation engineer with 15 years of industry experience. Alon has been involved in a broad range of projects in the public and private sectors in Canada, USA, and abroad. Alon is a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and a Road Safety Professional (RSP1).

Services
Evolve provides a large array of transportation services. The company works as a direct consultant or in collaboration with other transportation engineering firms, architects, ITS specialists and developers.
Transportation Impact Assessments
Evolve conducts transportation impact assessments (TIAs) for municipalities and developers on various land uses. The company can provide all TIA steps from data collection, trip generation, traffic analysis, site access and circulation, parking assessment, and transportation reports.
Microsimulation Modelling
Evolve's main specialty is state of the art microsimulation modelling. Through this tool, Evolve has been an integral part of many projects which include highways, ports, railroad crossings, truck queueing operations, transit hubs, major corridors, ITS, smart parkade systems, and specialty pedestrian modelling.
Intelligent Transportation Systems
Using advanced microsimulation applications, Evolve can develop and test several ITS solutions. These solutions include adaptive signal systems of various complexities, dynamic message signs, smart parkade systems, transit signal priority, and automated queueing operations.
Training
Evolve provides training in traffic analysis software and general transportation engineering fundamentals, as well as ongoing project QA, to public sector staff, private companies, academic staff, and students.
Safety Studies
Evolve can conduct standalone safety studies and safety evaluations for ongoing projects. These services include sightline analysis, speed studies, collision data collection and analysis, use of crash modification factors, and school zone safety reviews.
Municipal Support
Evolve provides in-house support for municipal staff. Our services include transportation impact assessment reviews, policy development, research, staff training, stakeholder consultation, peer reviews, and council presentations.
